The tutorial missions work well to teach players the concepts and the single player missions provide a good deal of tactical training and hours of play. I can't wait to see how this version continues to grow as the tabletop game has!. Alright, so I bought this game and then refunded it after about 30 minutes. I then put uo a review as a negative experience.I decided that this was kinda stupid and unfair to the devs who obviously worked hard on this game. So I rebought the game and am now giving it another chance. I gotta say it's really good. However, the dice are brutal. Unforutnately, everytime I play the PC version, I am hugely dissappointed. I try to play the game within the rules I know and come to find out that those particular rules are not implemented in the game, from card play to the use of transports. Even if you are unfamiliar with the tabletop version, you will be baffled by the rule icons on the unit tiles that are either not included in the game or poorly explained. I am happy to try a game that is ready for release. However, I stay far away from early access games because I am uninterested in an unfinished product. This game is certainly unfinished and should be labeled accordingly.. This is a good adaptation of the boardgame, and the boardgame is alot of fun, but a major part of the game has been left out by the developers, the cards. There are alot of people posting reviews about how the game cheats by manipulating the dice, and the developers have responded by creating difficulty levels that skew the games dice randomness in the players favor, but it is not the dice rolls that are the problem. In the Boardgame the randomness of the dice rolls are balance by the use of the cards. The developer has now added the cards to the game and now it is very enjoyable. I have changed my recommendation from thumb down to thumb up.Have fun.
